Jarvis privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

Jarvis is a private assistant that one household runs on its own computers at home. It is not offered to the public: only people the household has invited can sign in.

What Jarvis does with your Google data

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Jarvis asks Google for one permission: to see and change events on calendars you own (calendar.events.owned). With it, Jarvis:

It cannot see calendars other people share with you, your email, your contacts or anything else in your Google account.

Where it is kept

Who it is shared with

Nobody. Your Google data is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train AI models, and not shared with anyone. Jarvis's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Looking things up

When you ask Jarvis to look something up or find a price, it sends the search words (never your name or account) to web search engines and to the shop websites it checks, the same as a web browser would.

Other Google services

When you ask for stops along a drive, Jarvis sends the start, the destination and the route to Google Maps to find places. If you say "from here", your current location for that one request is included.
